Miho Hatori has been involved in some pretty special projects: she sang as part of eclectic NY art-pop band Cibo Matto, she played the part of Noodle in the Gorillaz original incarnation and she’s collaborated with Handsome Boy Modeling School. So it make sense that her solo debut Ecdysis is an extremely eclectic affair.

Ecdysis (pronounced “ek-duh-sis”) blends rhythms from Japan, Jamaica, Brazil, Bali, Africa and Arabia with rock, blues and pop to create a fresh, summery pop album with global overtones.

We gave "Barracuda" music video by Miho Hatori a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (November, 2006). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
