Last month Nellie McKay released Pretty Little Head as she originally intended it: 23 songs on two discs with a 44-page color booklet. Released through her own label Hungry Mouse Records (distributed by spinART / Ryko), she even produced the album herself. "There You Are" starts off as standard singer songwriter fare only to have industrial-like drums come crashing down in the unexpected way that only McKay can. Breathaking.

We gave "There You Are" music video by Nellie McKay a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (November, 2006). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
