On April 8, Anti Records will release 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!,' the first Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds record in four years and their fourteenth studio album. The eleven new and original tracks on 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!' feature the same incarnation of the Bad Seeds who performed on 2004's acclaimed 'Abattoir Blues/ The Lyre of Orpheus.' On this record Cave plays little piano and wrote and recorded most of the songs on organ. Also Bad Seeds violinist Warren Ellis swaps his trademark instrument for guitar, 12-string lute, and electric mandolin. The album also features Mick Harvey on guitar, Thomas Wydler on drums and percussion, Martyn Casey on bass, Conway Savage on piano and vocals, Jim Sclavunos on drums, percussion and vocals, and James Johnston on guitar and organ.
