For the first time, the platinum-selling Live In The Tragic Kingdom concert video from the multi-platinum band No Doubt will be available as a stand-alone DVD. Live In The Tragic Kingdom (Interscope/UMe), released June 13, 2006, chronicles the SoCal band's triumphant 1997 hometown performance at Anaheim's Arrowhead Pond in both stereo and 5.1 surround sound.

    No Doubt

Filmed by renowned director Sophie Muller, who also helmed several of No Doubt's music videos, the concert was originally released on VHS in 1997 and featured all of the fan favorites from the band's #1-charting, 10 times platinum album Tragic Kingdom. The Live In The Tragic Kingdom DVD premiered as part of 2003's limited edition box set entitled Boom Box.

Exclusive bonuses for this stand-alone DVD release greatly expand the original length of both the VHS and the box set's DVD. Included are "On The Road To The Tragic Kingdom," a collection of 1992-1997 home movies of the band at home and on tour; three live performances from Den Haag, ("Different People," "Don't Speak" and "Hey You"); and an alternate version of the renowned "Don't Speak" video. Also added are several hidden gems plus candid backstage footage, a photo gallery slide show set to the tune of "Tragic Kingdom" and the promotional clips for the DVD releases of 2003's Rock Steady Live and 2004's The Videos: 1992-2003.

As for the central concert, Live In The Tragic Kingdom captures No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont performing their breakthrough hits "Just A Girl," "Spiderwebs" and "Don't Speak," popular charters "Excuse Me Mr." and "Sunday Morning" plus a dozen more songs. Among the latter is a guest appearance by Gwen's older brother Eric, an original member of the band, on The Beatles' "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da."

Thanks to the album Tragic Kingdom (1995) celebrated on Live In The Tragic Kingdom, No Doubt earned four Grammy nominations--for Best New Artist, Best Rock Album and "Don't Speak" for Song of the Year. The video for "Don't Speak" won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Group Video and was nominated for Video of the Year. Following Tragic Kingdom, No Doubt continued it's success with the Top 10, platinum album Return Of Saturn (2000) and the Top 10, double platinum album Rock Steady (2001). The latter also spun off the Grammy-winning hits "Hey Baby" and "Underneath It All." 2004's greatest hits package The Singles: 1992-2003 charted #2, went double platinum and scored another Top 10 single and multiple MTV wins with the track "It's My Life."

There will be more to come from No Doubt.
