OJ Da Juiceman to release Otha Side Of The Trap
Atlanta native, OJ DA JUICEMAN is making everyone understand why hard work and a steady grind will always payoff. His debut album, THE OTHA SIDE OF THE TRAP released last week (January 27) via 32 Ent. /Mizay Ent. /Asylum Records. The album features stand out cuts such as the street anthem, "Hell of a Life" and the Trap Star theme, "50 Bricks". Other noted singles off the album are his first single and video, "I'm Getting Money" and current hit "Make the Trap Say Aye" with label mate Gucci Mane.
To promote the album, the rising star maximized every minute out of his release day in his hometown and completed five (5) fan- jam-packed retail store meet and greet visits. In support of the Atlanta local independent retailers, Da Juiceman included three (3) bonus tracks on his debut release to give his loyal fans.

OJ Da Juiceman biography
Hard work pays off. Joining a long list of southern hip hop all-stars from the dirty south, OJ da Juiceman has exploded onto the music scene making quite a buzz on the streets and the mix tape scene. His popular mix tape, “OJ da Juiceman hosted by Dirty Laundry” was the classic musical creation that put him on the map and elevated him onto the next level.
Born Otis Williams, Jr. in Atlanta, Georgia, exposed this future rapper to hardcore groups like NWA, Ruthless Juveniles and The Dog House Posse. Their music laid out the soundtrack in OJ’s life that inspired him to eventually speak on everyday life in the streets, his past life experiences and what the future holds through his music. “If you’re in the trap, it makes you grind harder, when you’re riding solo-you pop something in and reflect on the lyrics.” Says OJ.
Nicknamed OJ da Juiceman by his father, Otis Sr. noticed his son’s effortless ability to turn beats into a pulp with his lyrical flow. A product of a single parent home escorted the harsh reality 0f OJ stepping up to help his mother support the family by any means necessary at an early age. “If you can survive in these harsh streets you can conquer just about anything.” says OJ.
Professing himself a conqueror, OJ Da Juiceman intense grind and passion for life and the music game has created several opportunities for OJ. He has appeared on several mix tapes hosted by some of today’s elite names in hip hop such as DJ Drama, DJ Burn One and DJ Ace. He has also successfully released seven mix tapes that have garnered him a buzz worthy name in the streets and music industry.
His consistent and undying presence has undoubtedly increased his fan base. OJ has flooded the myspace world with a gargantuan boost in myspace friends and recognition with his steady musical presence in the South and Midwest regions. Delivering a combination of hard work, grassroots marketing and promotions, OJ da Juiceman has infiltrated the streets and music industry.
His debut album on 32 Entertainment/Asylum Records entitled, The Otha Side of the Trap releasing in January 2009 is destined to deliver classic OJ Da Juiceman flair. His first single is “I’m Getting Money.” Other noted tracks from the album are the street anthem, “Hell of a Life” and the Trap Star Theme, “50 Bricks.” OJ da Juiceman also gives a highlight feature collaboration with his partner, neighborhood friend and label mate, Gucci Mane 0n “Make the Trap Say Aye.”
In addition to his musical career, OJ is interested in pursuing an acting career and determined to create opportunities for his family to be entrepreneurs like him.
