Life doesn’t always have to be so complicated, it is possible to avoid the frills, glam, drama and illusion and still manage to have some fun. Music, to, doesn’t have to be so overwrought; you can make something great without any presupposed irony and or angsty pretension and no one knows this more than Baltimore quartet, Page France.

Formed in the spring of 2004 from what was then a solo venture by lead singer/songwriter Michael Nau, has since grown and transformed into a full musical collaborative with close friends: Whitney McGraw, Clinton Jones and Jason Reeder. Sonically, Page France seamlessly conjure and resurrect the timeless talent of folkloric storytelling, offering a spirited mix of musical campfire sing-a-longs, lovelock tales and whimsical pop classics all with a delicate dash of youthful exuberance.

Suicide Squeeze are excited to be re-releasing this fantastic debut. Whether this serves as an introduction or a reintroduction to the band, Page France’s Hello, Dear Wind proves to be an appealing, innovative pop-music-masterwork.
