Panic At The Disco have announced details of their upcoming CD/DVD set, "LIVE IN CHICAGO." The two-disc package -- recorded earlier this year during the band's hugely successful world tour -- will arrive in stores and online on December 2nd. "LIVE IN CHICAGO" features 17 explosive tracks, culled from Panic At The Disco's two blockbuster albums: 2005's platinum breakthrough "A FEVER YOU CAN'T SWEAT OUT" and this year's critically acclaimed "PRETTY. ODD." In addition, the CD features alternate versions of four "PRETTY. ODD." favorites, including "She Had The World" and "The Piano Knows Something I Don't Know".

The "LIVE IN CHICAGO" DVD gathers a range of content, including videos; behind-the-scenes footage; photos; MTV's short film, "Panic At The Disco In American Valley"; and the exclusive tour documentary feature, "All In A Day's." In addition, a special package, titled "A PICTURE WITH BOOKS/LIVE IN CHICAGO," will be released exclusively via the Fueled By Ramen webstore, located at http://store.fueledbyramen.com. The Limited Edition set adds a spectacular 96-page hardcover book featuring rare photos and Polaroid pics taken during PATD's epic 2008 world tour.

Panic At The Disco
The Las Vegas-based band remains on the road, currently traveling the country as co-headliners on the "Rock Band Live" tour. The interactive music experience -- which also features Dashboard Confessional, Plain White T's, and fellow Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording group The Cab -- continues through a November 14th finale at Houston's Reliant Center. Panic At The Disco are also among the featured artists in MTV Games' recently released Rock Band 2.

"PRETTY. ODD." made a blockbuster chart debut upon its release this past spring. The acclaimed collection entered the Billboard 200 at #2 with sales of 139,000. The album's out-of-the-box success marked the band's best-ever sales week, and one of the highest sales and chart debuts in Fueled By Ramen's history (second only to Fall Out Boy). The album -- which includes "Nine In The Afternoon," "That Green Gentlemen (Things Have Changed)," and its latest single, "Northern Downpour," which received an MTV video premiere this past week -- has been met by a veritable ream of critical approbation. Spin's Barry Walters awarded the set four stars, noting that Panic At The Disco "have stepped up their songwriting skills" to create a "dazzling" album that is both "blindingly bright" and "optimistically beautiful." "A brave change," affirmed the New York Times' Jon Pareles, "the magnum opus of a talented band."
