Pat Monahan: Her Eyes video + song
Train frontman Pat Monahan has just finished work on his solo album 'Last of Seven' which is due out September 18th. Monahan co-wrote the first single off the ablum 'Her Eyes' with Leonard and John Shanks which was inspired by his girlfriend and daughter.
Although Monahan describes 'Her Eyes' as 'uptempo' this is not emblematic of the whole album, there are some slower songs like 'Some Day' which features a choir. Monahan isn't concerned that his new material will be compared to the work he did with Train as he is a singer in both projects. Featuring on the album are Brandi Carlile and Train guitarist Jimmy Stafford.
