TRL video sensation Shane Drake was brought on board to direct the video which was shot in downtown Los Angeles. Drake has quickly become Hollywood’s leading video director for his outstanding work on such videos as Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” Paramore’s “Misery Business” and Panic! At the Disco’s “I Write Sins and Tragedies,” for which he won the 2006 MTV Video Music Award for Best Director.
“Let Go” will be released November 20. The track features Rea Garvey, lead singer of the international rock group Reamonn. “Let Go” distinctively combines what Blender Magazine is calling “Rock n Rave” to establish its own unique sound.
The release of “Let Go” comes on the heels of an already successful album launch. “In Between” (Mute) debuted this summer at #1 on the iTunes Dance Album chart and its first single “White Lies” featured Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls remains at the top of many dance charts worldwide. In addition, Mute will be releasing a limited double edition of “In Between” unreleased b-sides, remixes and alternate album art.
