After his recent cover versions outing, the Modfather Paul Weller returns with a brand new self-penned single 'From The Floorboards Up'. From its choppy opening riff and dance-floor tempting urgency 'From The Floorboards Up' is Weller at his paired down best. Described by the man himself as "Two minutes and 25 seconds of rock 'n roll", 'From The Floorboards Up' is released on on July 18th on CD and two 7" versions. I gave the song a listen and I like it.
