With a deafening buzz surrounding the March 31st release of their latest album Living Thing via Columbia Records, Peter Bjorn and John announce the premiere of the extraordinary music video for the album's first single, "Nothing To Worry About." Directed by Andreas and Filip Nillson, the video debuted February 6th.
"Nothing To Worry About" impacts Alternative on February 24th.
Two years after breaking onto the world stage with their internationally lauded album Writer's Block and its first single, and iTunes Track of the Year "Young Folks," Peter Bjorn and John is back with Living Thing, an album of perfectly crafted gems that carry the distinctive sound that has come to define the trio. Produced by the band and Lars Marten and recorded in Stockholm, New York City and Los Angeles, Living Thing was made with an unprecedented level of input from the band and reflects the various musical tastes, influences and personality of each individual band member more than any previous PB+J album to find them at their most adventurous and cohesive.
Bjorn says of Living Thing that, "It's a bit more grown up, a very delicate and focused record. It's like we decorated the whole house this time. I think all the songs are exciting, and no song is left out to be, like, plain and dull. There's a lot of variety, as it was on the last record, but it's kind of mixed together with a certain, cool atmosphere that runs through the whole album. A bit more dark and rhythmic. We kind of looked into a lot of Prince stuff, Depeche Mode stuff, some African late-'70s music and Celia Cruz-stuff like that."
