"Da REAList," the eagerly awaited new album from recording artist Plies has been released on December 16th -- marking the Fort Myers, Florida-based rap superstar's third full-length release in just under 16 months. The album -- which includes the current hit single, "Put It On Ya" -- follows the RIAA gold certified smash, "DEFINITION OF REAL," which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its June release.

Today, Plies will celebrate the release of "Da REAList" with a hometown in-store appearance at the FYE store in Fort Myers (located at 2275 Winkler Avenue), set to get underway at 6pm.

"Put It On Ya" is blowing up at multi-format radio outlets across the country, having impacted last month as the #1 most-added at both Urban and Rhythmic. The single -- which features Big Gates recording artist Chris J -- is now ascending the top 20 at both formats. What's more, "Put It On Ya" is climbing the top 25 on Nielsen's "Top 200 Ringscan" chart.

The "Put It On Ya" companion video is now in "Heavy" rotation at BET, where it recently peaked at #2 on the "106 & Park" countdown. Plies will make a special day-of-release appearance on "106 & Park," which he'll follow with a live performance on BET's annual "106 & Party" extravaganza on New Year's Eve (check local listings). "Put It On Ya" was also featured throughout MTV2's recent Sucker Free Week programming and is now in "Blazin" rotation at MTV Jams and "Unleaded" rotation at MTV Hits.

"Put It On Ya" is an online blockbuster, with over 8 million streams thus far at Plies' official MySpace page, www.myspace.com/plies. The track's video has logged over 1 million plays at Plies' hugely popular YouTube channel, located at www.youtube.com/PliesWorld. In addition, Plies and Imeem hosted an exclusive "Da REAList" listening party that took place Sunday, December 14th at www.imeem.com/plies.

"Want It, Need It (Feat. Ashanti)," the next single from "Da REAList," will ship to multi-format outlets later this month, including Urban, Crossover, and Rhythmic. The track is set to impact early in the New Year.
