Scram Jones - Loose Cannons

Scram Jones is the epitome of a triple threat; not only does he lock down the mic and the turntables...

... , but he is also one of Hiphop’s fastest rising producers (he is best known for producing Terror Squad’s smash hit “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Lloyd Banks’ “Work Magic” and is currently producing tracks for Xzibit and Mariah Carey’s upcoming LP’s) and was recently profiled for his production prowess by XXL Magazine.

Scram’s uncanny ability to effectively hold down all three elements puts him in a truly elite class; as a lyricist his rhymes are packed with metaphor after metaphor, as he constantly manipulates the English language with intricate rhymes schemes. His rhymes are so chock full of word play that it’s virtually impossible to catch of all his puns with a cursory listen.

But Scram’s talents don’t end there, as he is also a DJ---but not a mixtape or party DJ, but a turntablist! Scram uses the turntables as an instrument of itself and his combination of futuristic scratches, complex lyricism and powerful production represents a true Hiphop Evolution in its purest form. Scram Jones is literally a “Hiphop one man band.”

Scram puts all of these talents on display with Loose Cannon’s which features guest appearances from Saigon, Havoc, Noreaga, Jim Jones, Cam’Ron, Terror Squad, Sadat X, T.I., Tragedy Khadafi, Jae Millz, Drag-On, Sean Price and Nature. Loose Cannon’s will be released in conjunction with Sure Shot Recordings on 9-21-04.
