The competition will look for talented teenagers between the ages of 13-18 in the New York City tri-state area. Youth that sing and dance is a plus but everyone has a chance to make their dreams come true by auditioning on July 16th @ The Ripley Grier Studio 585 W 38th Street in NYC. The winner of the talent search will receive a record deal with the first single written and produced by Grammy Award winning super producer SEAN GARRETT. The winner will also perform at the I WILL GRADUATE DAY Celebration in October and have their music featured on NY’s #1 radio station HOT 97FM.

If anyone can make a superstar, Sean Garrett can. Sean has written and produced fifteen number one singles in only seven years. That number puts him in fifth place on the Billboard list of producers with the most number one hits of all times. Garrett is the only producer to achieve this measure of success in under a decade. In addition to his many awards and accolades, Garrett received the prestigious Grammy Producer of the Decade Award for writing and producing #1 hits such as Beyoncé’s “Check On It,” Fergie’s “London Bridge,” Nelly’s “Grillz,” Chris Brown’s “Run It!,” Ciara’s “Goodies,” and Usher’s “Yeah!” along with hits for an impressive list of talent to include Janet Jackson, Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. “Working in the record industry, developing talent has been my passion but I look forward to the opportunity to share my abilities with the youth through E4EA and give back to the young people that have supported me and my music for so long,” stated Garrett.

Executive Director for Entertainers 4 Education Alliance Tonya Lewis said, “E4EA is excited about this opportunity. We will use this talent search as another way to get our message out to the youth about the importance of education. We are grateful to Sean for his generosity and his commitment to helping the youth of NYC. We can’t wait to see someone’s dream come true.”
