Love Is Free is the second track released from rock singer Sheryl Crow's latest album Detours, and the first to be released as an official single. Its predecessor Shine Over Babylon was airplay only. On her website, Crow states that she was inspired by the floods in New Orleans. "What struck me about it is the stoicism of the New Orleans people, they are very spiritually based. You can see it in their eyes that they aren't going to give up, they are going to rebuild."

We are still loving "Love Is Free" music video by Sheryl Crow (a Thumbs Up!) although its been over three months since was given a 'Thumbs Up' here at MusicRemedy (January, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
