In celebration of their 25th anniversary, Razor & Tie will release the ultimate collection, SIMPLY RED 25 - THE GREATEST HITS, on February 3rd 2009. The 17 track album includes the most beloved Simply Red songs from the past two-and-half decades and a brand new single, “Go Now,” a cover of The Moody Blues heart-rending classic. The band will play two shows in the U.S. – Los Angeles at Club Nokia on March 13th and in New York City at Radio City Music Hall on March 15th.
The amazing 25 year journey has resulted in one of the most successful British acts with worldwide sales rapidly approaching 60 million. Having released 10 studio albums, Simply Red has had innumerable singles/hits including the Billboard # 1 “Holding Back The Years” and the Motown classic “If You Don’t know Me By Now” as well as four other charting Hot 100 singles.
