“How do we get from here to there?” is the question Sonya Kitchell poses on the first single from her highly anticipated new album ‘This Storm’ -- set for release on September 2, 2008 on Decca/Velour. The new track features an uplifting, layered rhythm section incorporating jangling guitars, saloon piano, baritone sax and even a penny whistle — a musical mélange typical of producer Malcolm Burn (Bob Dylan, Daniel Lanois, Peter Gabriel) – all centered around Sonya’s heartfelt lyrics and lush vocals. We gave "Here To There" music video by Sonya Kitchell a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (July, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top.
