Static-X: Destroyer video + song

With only three weeks till the release of Static-X’s album on April 3rd, the band wants to give their fans another taste of Cannibal. “Destroyer” is the second track off of the new album with the raw heavy sound that Wayne Static wanted to bring this time. “I focused on stripping away the excess as much as possible to write short, simple, catchy songs,” Static says. This back-to-basics style for Cannibal has a lot to do with Wayne taking over most of the producer duties. Static teamed with producer/engineer John Travis (Kid Rock, Buckcherry) to help create the new sound. “I had a vision for this record, which is why I wanted to produce it myself,” Static says.
