Stoney has been a staple on the Red Dirt scene for quite a while now and he continues to get better. This latest offering has a Texas swing sound to it, it could have just as easily been recorded by Asleep at the Wheel. It's laid back, stripped down and just plain cool. We gave "Solid Gone" music video by Stoney LaRue a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (March, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
