Taking Back Sunday— which includes lead vocalist Adam Lazarra, guitarist-vocalist Fred Mascherino, guitarist Eddie Reyes, bassist Matt Rubano, and drummer Mark O’Connell, have been nominated for a MTV Video Music Award for “MakeDamnSure,” the debut single/video from Louder Now. Fans can vote online through August 31 for their favorite artist in the MTV2 category, which in addition to Taking Back Sunday, includes 30 Seconds to Mars, Three 6 Mafia, Lil Wayne, and Yung Joc. The MTV VMA’s air Thursday, August 31.

We gave "MTV2 VMA Video" music video by Taking Back Sunday a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (August, 2006). Forgotten? Ahhh damn, it shouldnot be. This song has received some well deserved thumbs-up when it was (unofficially) released.
