Fans of Télépopmusik’s last CD, Genetic World, featuring the sultry vocals of Angela McCluskey, will be thrilled with the group’s anticipated second album, Angel Milk. Recorded in Paris, the self-produced album sees the multi-instrumentalist trio of Fabrice Dumont, Stephan Haeri (a.k.a. 2Square), and Christophe Hetier (also known as Antipop) joined once more by Angela McCluskey, along with such special contributors as vocalists Deborah Anderson (DJ Krush), and Mau.

Telepopmusik
Since releasing their first single, “An Ordinary Life,” in 1998 on independent French label Catalogue, Télépopmusik has gone on to international success, primarily on the dance floor ubiquity of their Grammy Award-nominated hit single “Breathe”. The track was the first single from the group’s 2002 Catalouge/Capitol debut album, Genetic World, which Alternative Press called “a laid-back meshing of chilled hip hop, late-night jazz, and upscale dancefloor grooves,” while earning a five-star rating from DJ magazine.

In 2003, “Breathe” enjoyed wide appreciation thanks to it’s placement in a national Mitsubishi Outlander television ad campaign. “Breathe” was later nominated for a Grammy in the Best Dance Recording category. That same year, Télépopmusik stepped out on its first tour of the United States – part of a world-wide itinerary that included more than 100 dates.

In addition to work with Télépopmusik, Dumont has recently composed the soundtrack to director Catherine Corsini’s “La Répétition.” Haeri has recorded a debut solo album, and Hetier has appeared on several movie mixes and DJ sets.
