    It's as straightforward as it could be. Drums, guitar, one vocal, so easy you could be forgiven for thinking that their sound would be simple, however 'When I Left Work Today' is one of the most original and challenging pieces of song writing to be heard this year. Its infectious chorus, spiteful lyrics and marching band drums will leave a deep imprint on the current alternative music scene.

    We gave "When I Left Work Today" music video by The Acutes a listen and yeah, we like it. Let's see if it will 'grow' on us. (November, 2006) Ahh look a song which should have received more attention. A pity...
