Swaddled tight in the electrified buckskin of their classic rock-n-roll forefathers, our five Washington braves set out to blanket America in a hot winter blizzard. Don't be fooled by the silk strands tucked behind their ears on New Years Eve: what the maps don't tell you is that all-night drives make for better lives, deer come out of nowhere, and what parents don't know (night after night) wont kill them.
2007 -- The Lonely H spent their graduation summer touring coast-to-coast in support of their new record and got a glimmer of the mission they were born to undertake. Tour is a magical place where every stage, no matter how high, is a new opportunity to deliver the goods. Armed with melodies that sound like letters to Penthouse etched on colored vinyl, the band lifted, lightened, and gave rise to every technical challenge. Bulletins started coming in over the wire from fans and bloggers (MSNBC, The New York Post, CMJ).
So, from Memphis to Manhattan went pockets full of picks, licks, pianos, and a living-loving swagger that has happily intoxicated the Pacific Northwest the last few years. Thanks to these starlit marauders, Port Angeles can sometimes sound like the good parts of 1970's Los Angeles depending what Saturday night they're home. Idling the van for a wise fall quarter at The University Of Washington, The Lonely H cracked books and fantasized with giddy relief about their soon-to-be-months out on the road in 2008. They can handle it, mama. Not only did they survive the twelfth grade riding ferries to play rock shows on school nights, they simultaneously penned and released two albums with heart and heat to match after class (Kick Upstairs in 2006 and Hair in July 2007 via The Control Group). See you this year...without a signed permission slip.

biography
Meet The Lonely H. Born in the late 80's, these amplified Killer whales sweeten the salty streets of their pacific northwestern town tonight.
If The Beach Boys coached the Bad News Bears and Rivers Cuomo was glued to the bleachers holding a little flag that said F*CK YEAH, you'd see oceans of that cetacean brotherhood and heartbreaking nature mix with outstanding pop blood and rock-youth truth.
Living in Port Angeles, Washington, they are sixteen years old but their sound isn't thrash made by children. Talented, fresh, and legitimate, their harmonies and Lords Of Dogtown-Z Boys heartthrob radiance could (and does) melt the halls of their High School.
The Lonely H aren't doing keg stands, they're fitting their minds with Jimmy Page dragon-wizard suits, making music industry heads turn, and hoping The Cars can explain where Jeff Buckley went with Freddie Mercury.
Please welcome these young men to the rock and roll family of Puget sound as they embark on troubleshooting their first problems. And I quote: "girls screaming, piercing-your-ears-screaming. Man, that's really awesome. But, it hurts at the same time."
