The Pack – Young L, Lil Uno, Stunna and Lil B - are four teens from the Bay Area of California who combine elements of several hip-hop subgenres (hyphy, Miami bass, and crunk) to create what they call Based Music. The hit song “Vans”, an ode to the legendary skateboard sneaker, instantly became a cult classic among the Myspace and Youtube crowd amassing millions of plays and eventually caught the ears of some music industry heavy hitters. Legendary rapper Too Short heard the group and brought them to the attention of Jive Records where they quickly landed a deal.
