The Terms speak of: Love Systems, Rainbows from Hell, Blueprints of Angels, Wedding Bells, Martini Bars, and Beaches of Mars.
The Terms formed in Baton Rouge, where they’re currently attending Louisiana State University. Their musical relationship found its spark when Ben Labat met lead guitarist Clyde Hargrove and percussionist Blake Oliver. The acoustic trio played at local college bars and quickly gained popularity through Ben’s textured voice and Clyde’s haunting guitar. Joined by fellow students, drummer Scott Lasseigne and bassist Greg Chiartano, The Terms emerged.

Their lyric references to love and postmodern realism intertwined with the driven back-beats and bright overtones drove The Terms to there unique original sound. Packed houses throughout Baton Rouge's club scene continued and The Terms were on their way.
The Terms, produced by Greg Ladanyi, best known for his work with Jackson Browne, Don Henley, Toto, and Fleetwood Mac, are making their mark on our emotional need for real songs by a real band.
