Thursday Announces Tour with Taking Back Sunday

On the heels of release of one of the most critically revered albums of their career, fervent rock band Thursday has just announced a US tour with Taking Back Sunday in support of their new record, No Devolución. The tour will kick off on June 14 in Denver and will culminate on July 31 in Chicago. Called “the first true masterpiece of 2011” by Absolutepunk.net, Thursday’s sixth studio album has rapidly become one of year’s best reviewed albums. Alternative Press exclaims that it’s “downright beautiful” and CMJ adds that it’s a “post-hardcore masterpiece.”

Thursday’s daring musical evolution continues to surprise critics and fans with its sweeping, atmospheric riffs and choruses that intertwine with the band’s post-hardcore roots for one of the year’s most beautifully cathartic albums. “As raw yet coldly deliberate as self-surgery, No Devolucion isn't a return to form for Thursday; it's a searing, scarring reinvention,” says The Onion’s A.V.
