    Tiga: (Far From) Home video + song

    Having worked with mash-up kings Soulwax and labelmates MSTRKRFT, great things were expected from Canadian Tiga on his debut album, and he delivers in spades. Produced by the Dewaele Brothers of Soulwax and Swedish techno producer Jesper Dahlbäck, the album is full of loose-limbed beats layered under the kind of melodies that have been missing from dance music since the 80s.

    Bringing together style, funk and a strut all his own, Tiga is the next best thing to happen to dance music.

    We gave "(Far From) Home" music video by Tiga a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (November, 2006). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
