Tina Dico: On the Run video + song

"It looks like freedom and it smells like fun, but it feels like being on the run." Tina Dico sings on the first single, On The Run" from her upcoming release 'Count to Ten' - out April 8th on Defend Music. An ethereal and intimate reflection on the lifestyle of a touring musician, the single features Tina's striking alto singing stunning lead and harmony vocals. Feeling torn by the lure of the road juxtaposed with a more conventional, settled domestic existence, the atmospheric song is driven by lush acoustic and electric guitar sounds and sparse, but beautiful co-production by Tina and her longtime collaborator, Dennis "Ghettoblast" Ahlgren.
'Count to Ten' is the gorgeous follow up to Dico's critically lauded 'In the Red' which received a prestigious Danish Grammy award for Best Songwriter and was voted Best Composer at the Danish Music Critics Awards. She has toured all over the world both with her solo material and as a part of Zero 7 - that's her breathtaking vocal on the hit single "Home". North American tour dates are being planned for spring 2008 following the U.S. release of 'Count to Ten.' We gave "On the Run" music video by Tina Dico a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (January, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top.
