Toby Love 'Love is Back' album

For some artists, the path to success can be filled with many obstacles before reaching popular acceptance. This is not the case with Toby Love, an artist who accomplished worldwide stardom with his first album release and today excites fans once again with the release of his second musical production.

"Love is Back" is the title of his new album, which the artist feels is much more personal than his previous record having worked side by side with famed musical producer Eddie Pérez. "That's what makes this album different, more consistent and with a well defined personality" says Toby.

"It's something new, that's what I always go after whether I am recording an album or performing live before my fans" states the young artist who will arrive in New York on August 31st to kick off his new album's promotional tour on radio stations and television networks around the country.

After the immense radio success of the first single "Llorar Lloviendo", the album will hit stores this coming Tuesday, September 2nd, and has been anxiously awaited by his fans.

A former vocalist in the group Aventura for about six years, TOBY learned about the genre of music called bachata, as well as gaining experience recording in studios and performing live in front of millions of people. TOBY LOVE not only honed his talent and love for his craft, but he began developing his own style as an artist with a new take bachata. Fusing a traditionally Dominican style of music and adding his flavor of R&B vocals and Hip Hop beats and making it accessible to all the young urban kids all over the world is this Puerto Rican artists goal. Influenced by many musical powerhouses, like R.Kelly and Michael Jackson, who are well known for innovating the blending of musical genres, the pure R&B soul of Brian McKnight, the touching musical poetry that define Lauryn Hill and Hector Lavoe, the excitement of the Caribbean music of Juan Luis Guerra, and personally inspired by his father, TOBY LOVE found his sound. TOBY describes his music as, a fusion of R&B with new age and traditional bachata transforming it into something I like to call crunkchata. Not every artist is fortunate enough to succeed to the extent Toby Love did after releasing his self-titled debut album September of 2006. Months after leaving world renowned Bachata group, Aventura, of which he was a back up vocalist for six years,Toby Love launched his solo career only to position himself as one of the leading artists in the Bachata genre. His debut single "Tengo Un Amor" was 1 on the Latin charts for over two consecutive months. All three of the albums' singles reached top 10 on the Latin charts. In April of 2007, he got nominated for 4 Latin Billboard Awards of which he won two for Tropical Airplay Song of the Year, New Artist for his hit song ..Tengo un Amor' and the Latin Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year for Toby Love. Later that year he was invited to perform in Univision's "Premios Juventud" along with Urban Latin rap star Hector El Father and Salsa icon Victor Manuelle. Almost two years have passed since his debut album released yet Toby Love is still reaping the benefits of his success selling out shows all over Europe, Central and South America. Toby Love is back and by popular demand; hence the title of his sophomore album,"Love is Back". Lyrically we hear a grown up Toby who reveals intimate experiences.Musically the album has more of a traditional Bachata feel.
