Okay, so it's not exactly a new song, but it is a new version. The first single from the soon to be released Waylon Forever was re-recorded in 1995 when Waylon asked his son, Shooter, to collaborate on an album with him. In 2006 Shooter went back in the studio with his band, The .357's, to put music to the vocal tracks and the results is Waylon's classic outlaw voice with a fresh rockin' sound to back him up. We gave "Lonesome On'ry And Mean" music video by Waylon Jennings a listen and yeah, it's a nice song (November, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
