With their new album MAKE BELIEVE ready to drop on May 10th, Weezer gets ready to rock with a headlining North American tour...
that will include a stop at the popular and praised Coachella Festival in California this April.
As one of the most popular groups to emerge in the post-grunge alternative-rock aftermath, Weezer receives constant praise from critics and fans for their hook-heavy guitar pop which in turn have amassed a large die-hard fan base. With each new release since their 1994 debut, Weezer has sharpened their wicked edge and raised the bar in alternative pop.
MAKE BELIEVE, produced by Rick Rubin, includes the tracks: "Beverly Hills," "We Are All On Drugs," "This Is Such a Pity," and "Peace."
Comprised of Rivers Cuomo - vocals, guitar / Brian Bell - guitar, vocals / Scott
Shriner - bass, vocals / Pat Wilson - drums---- Weezer has recorded four best-selling albums over their ten-year career including: 1994's debut self-titled Weezer, 1996's Pinkerton, 2001's Weezer (green album), and 2002's Maladroit.
The single, "Beverly Hills" arrives at radio on March 23rd. MTV2 will air an "All Day Premier" on Tues, Mar 29th and MTV2 "Makes the Video" premiers Wed, March 30th.
