Whiskey Myers: Lonely East TX Nights video + song

This five man band from East Texas is making quite a splash so far with their debut album, Road of Life. Their current single has a very cool and somewhat haunting sound, my co-worker described it as very intriguing. The band itself has only been together for a few years, but they play, sing and write with a cohesiveness far beyond their years. The vocals are soulful and the music is almost sensual. We are still loving "Lonely East TX Nights" music video by Whiskey Myers (a Thumbs Up!) although its been over three months since was given a 'Thumbs Up' here at MusicRemedy (December, 2008). An oldie but didnot make it to 'goodie'. Apparantly not enough attention to make it to the top. A pity...
