Bringing together the classic songwriting of Stevie Wonder with the 80s pop sensibilities of Cyndi Lauper, North London based singer songwriter Zarif creates her own brand of quirky retro-tinged soul. Zarif's first single, "Let Me Back", described as "an upbeat slice of sunshine soul" by Attitude magazine is out on March 30rd.

We are still loving "Let Me Back" music video by Zarif (a Thumbs Up!) although its been over three months since was given a 'Thumbs Up' here at MusicRemedy (March, 2009). No idea whether this will be an official single. Just check it if you want to keep updated.
